. Pour l’expo de mai …

J’ai enfin commencé de broder le tablier que chacune des brodeuses portera pour l’expo du club mi-mai. Je voulais faire des rosettes de toutes les tailles mais finalement, j’ai changé (un peu marre des rosettes !!!) pour reprendre l’alphabet Anglo saxon.

Les fils étant un peu serrés, j’ai mal compté le nombre de points au cm et au lieu de faire une lettre bien centrée dans les carreaux verts du tablier, je me retrouve décalée ! Je vais donc faire les lettres à la suite, en ligne (alignés à gauche, pour faire original) et j’ai prévu de faire le C et le M, mes initiales en rose ou en rouge.

La couleur dominante est du 1 fil de soie Elephant & Castle de Silk’n colors (The Thread Gatherer).

Des nouvelles bientôt. Maintenant, je dois faire mes devoirs pour le cours de patchwork de demain soir : finir la fleur au point de croix (voir article précédent) et les assembler avec des petits carrés.

I started to stitch the linen apron that each member of the stitching club will wear during the next expo in may. I wanted to stitch rosettes but i’m a little bit fed up with rosettes !!!! So i took an old alphabet, already stitched : Anglo saxon alphabet.

I didn’t count well the quantity of threads by inch on the apron, so i started the first letter and found that it would not be in the center of the square !!! Change of project : i will stitch letters like in the pattern… we’ll see…

I decided too to stich C and M letters in red or pink (my initials).

The floss : 1 thread of Elephant and Castle of Silk’n colors (The Thread Gatherer).

Now, i have to do my homework for tomorrow patchwork lesson : finish the knots stitches on the flower and make some squares in fabric. The lot will surround a piece of fabric in “boutis”.

Ho finalmente comminciato il ricamo sul grembiule di lino che ogni ricamatrice del club rivestirà durante l’esposizione in maggio. Non avro molte cose da esporre perchè non ho ricamato molto negli ultimi due anni (all’opposito di due anni fa). A l’ultimo momento ho deciso di non ricamare rosette sul grembiule ma piuttosto un alfabeto che avevo già ricamato (alfabeto anglosassone).

Volevo mettere ogni lettera al centro degli squadrati ma mi sono sbagliata nei calcoli e dunque dovrò cambiare ciò che avevo previsto e metterò le lettere come nel modello.

Ho scelto un filo di sete colore Elephant & Castle da Silk’n colors (The Thread Gatherer) e farò le lettere C ed M in rosa o in rosso (mie iniziali).

Adesso devo finire i miei “compiti a casa” per il corso di domani di patchwork : finire il fiore coi punti di nodo (cf l’articolo di ieri). Comminicieremo una nuova tecnica (per me) : il boutis.
